Truss Example 2

As mentioned before, there are a number of truss designs for different applications.  It is important to keep things as simple as possible, but when time, volunteer labor and budget allow, this style offers equal/greater strength, plus more side-to-side rigidity.  That plays a big part in the moving and lifting of these large trusses for the remainder of the project.

As mentioned before, once the truss design is decided, we lay out the first one on top of 4x8 sheet 'base' as a template.  We mark an outline of the pieces on the 4x8 base, then label the original pattern pieces for 'production cutting' later.
