De Colombia Scouting Visit - July 2018

When we arrived at De Colombia, we were again surprised by a finished church, this time with a very nice corrugated sheet steel roof on steel rafter beams.  There were nice classrooms and a clean courtyard...all in all a seemingly completed building, inside and out.  As it turned out, they were in need of some additional funds for more corrugated sheet steel and steel rafter beams because they had a water flow problem when it rained.  They assured us they were capable of doing the work, they just didn't have money for the materials.

While we were certainly sympathetic to their problem, we had to give this project a low priority compared to the others.
